Sweater Weather Cocktail Infusion Kit

Tips from Camp's Resident Mixologist:

Sweater Weather: this is a fun kit that is already nice and cozy at its base. That means, to me, to kick it up for a complex sip that tells me to slow down and take a beat. I would try a nice, rich reposado or añejo tequila. I personally like Herradura's offerings, but Corazon or Espolon will do well, too. If you want something a little bit smokier, and you're game to expand your palate, try a joven mezcal or a mild, easy sipping blended Scotch.

What can I say? I love tequila. If I could figure out a way to turn any cocktail into one with atequila

base, would do it! And this one is a fun twist on a typical spiked hot chocolate. It's autumn, so there had to be at least one warm drink!

• infuse the jar with 12 oz of reposado or añejo tequila—I personally like Herradura, but Corazon or Espolon will do well, too

• exercise that patience for three days, then strain

• make your favorite stovetop hot choc and pour into desired number of cozy mugs

• add 1-2 oz (depending on how boozy you want it) of infused tequila and stir

• top with whipped cream and, if you're feeling a little spicy, a dash of cocoa and chili powder to garnish

• sip, snuggle, and enjoy!
