Mughal Garden Giftwrap Sheet, Mimosa

This beautiful sheet of premium gift wrap is hand block printed on ivory cotton paper using 2 colors. A separate wooden block is used for each color application. Symmetry forms the core of the design and pattern repeats must be perfectly balanced. The colors are stamped one at a time and a high level of skill and precision is required to produce every sheet. The result is a truly stunning sheet of paper which is guaranteed to 'wow'!

At Paper Mirchi, designers work closely with small family-run units in India, where the artisans are passionate about their craft which has been passed down through generations. Regular breaks for 'chai' and the background hum of the radio are fuel for their creative expression.
