A refreshing beer cocktail with a kick! This beergarita is a spin on the classic Chelada, with a bite that will leave you wanting more. We created this cocktail with Scofflaw Brewing Co's hoppy, citrusy POG Basement IPA in mind for the perfect flavor balance! We love working with our neighbors at The Works! Simple to make, you'll be sipping this one all summer long.

Ingredients

Cocktail Salt for rim (if desired)
1.5 oz tequila blanco or reposado
1 oz Blood Orange Chili Pepper syrup, or to taste
1 oz fresh lime juice
4 oz chilled Scofflaw POG Basement IPA
Dehydrated blood orange for garnish

Directions

Run a lime wedge around the rim of a pint glass and dip into a shallow plate of cocktail salt.
Add tequila, syrup and lime juice to the prepared pint glass and stir to combine.
Add ice, and top with beer. Garnish with a dried blood orange and enjoy!
