Where crisp air meets warm flavors and all the flavors of Fall intertwine, this cocktail sits waiting to greet you. It's light yet rich and complex, and it's our unexpected top pick of the season. Rinsing a glass with Absinthe is nothing new (if you haven't had a Sazerac, we insist you try that cocktail too!), but this combination with Charred Oak Maple Syrup and a crisp, dry gin is a new twist that we can't get enough of. Give it a try and let us know what you think!
0.5 oz of fresh lemon juice
0.25 oz Charred Oak Maple Syrup
0.25 oz of Orange Peel and Bitters Mixer
Rinse a chilled coupe glass with Absinthe or Herbsaint by pouring in a small amount, swirling it around the inside of the glass, and pouring out the excess.
Combine all remainting ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and strain into your prepared coupe glass. Enjoy.
