Source: Beyond Frosting

This chocolate fudge icing is a buttercream frosting that makes some of the richest and most creamy icing you’ve ever tasted. It’s surprisingly simple and pairs well with cakes and cookies alike! Frost your brownies with it, fill your cupcakes with it, go nuts!

This recipe achieves a fudgier consistency than regular chocolate frosting by combining high-quality dark chocolate and cocoa powder. It also calls for cold butter instead of room temperature to get that airy, fluffy texture without compromising on any of the rich chocolate flavor. Is your mixer out yet?
