Opportunity: Part Time Sales Associate

Pay for this position begins at $15 per hour. We are looking for individuals who can work 12 - 20 hours per week.
Qualifications
| Demonstrated passion for Adelina Social Goods, our products, our community and our clientele by providing exemplary customer service and exceptional hospitality
| Event planning or arts and crafts background preferred with a minimum of 1 year of experience in retail or service related industry
| Exemplify professional behavior, a diligent work ethic and our three core values, while following all Adelina Social Goods policies and procedures
| Availability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require evening and weekend shifts
| Develop and maintain positive and professional working relationships with fellow employees, as well as neighboring businesses and our clientele
| Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and fulfill the physical duties of maintaining the stock room and sales floor, which may include repetitive bending, prolonged standing or twisting.
Role & Responsibilities
| Represent our values consistently and find purpose in work responsibilities and professional relationships
| Provide exceptional client service by greeting customers, creating a friendly and inviting environment for them to shop in, engaging them in conversation, consulting their needs and assisting them with purchases
| Inspire our customers with our unique (and often local) product offerings through brand stories and core product knowledge, such as stationery and custom invitations
| Understand customers' events, vision and personal style to make meaningful suggestions for additional or alternative purchases that satisfy their needs
| Run point of sale (POS) system and manage all transactions (i.e. sales, returns, gift cards, custom orders, etc.)
| Gift-wrap, inflate balloons, demonstrate products and assist with custom orders, as needed
| Maintain a beautiful store and modern, clean aesthetic by straightening merchandise and restocking as necessary
| Promote in-store workshops and events, as well as community partners and local businesses
| Perform closing and opening duties, as assigned, including light cleaning, restocking inventory, finishing all daily orders and pulling reports
| Prevent losses by keeping inventory, tending to customers’ needs and providing full store coverage
